I'm a full-stack engineer, and I like owning a product from end to end: the data model, the backend services and APIs, the frontend, and the infrastructure it runs on.
I started on backend systems at Raytheon, then spent six years at tZERO building trading backends in Java, Scala, and Kotlin, writing security token smart contracts, and leading the mobile team. That smart contract work earned three patents. Since then I've led engineering teams at TaxBit, Nerd United, and Anchorage Digital, and served as CTO of Realio.
Today I run NLJTS Consulting. I serve as fractional CTO for two companies, owning their technical direction and engineering, and I'm back to building hands-on: full-stack platforms, AI agents and LLM-powered tools, and onchain analysis tooling.
